Omega Technical Services is actively searching for Field Service Engineers to:

• Provide on-site technical direction during Rotating Equipment (such as HD Gas Turbines, Aero-derivative Engines, Steam Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors/pumps) Installation, Maintenance and Commissioning activities in locations such as Remote Oilfields, Industrial Facilities and LNG Plants.
• Coordinate Installation, Maintenance, Commissioning Site Activities in line with project schedule targets following strict HSE and Quality requirements & procedures.
• Able to understand and utilize Engineering Instructions, Drawings and Process Instructions during the execution of the site activities.
• Experience in effectively Communicating with Client representatives on job planning, progress and execution.
• Provide input for daily and weekly Installation/Service Reports
• Preparing timely and accurate technical reports as required.
• Have knowledge of all Quality procedures and documentation applicable to specific activities and ensure they are properly followed with documentation completed.
• Ensure HSE compliance with all current, local legislation, requests & requirements as applicable per project.
• Able to dispatch on short notice on a regular basis to client outages and installations across the US.

Successful candidates will have a Degree in Engineering from an accredited school and MUST have 5+ years field service experience in the with the following technologies & activities:

1. LM2500 Series , LM6000 Series and LMS100 series Aeroderivative Engines

2. Reciprocating, Centrifugal & Axial Compressors

3. Heavy Duty Gas Turbines

4. General Electric Mark V, VI and VIe Control Fundamentals

5. Hot Gas Path Inspections

6. Compressor Bundle Replacements

7. Dry Gas Seal Replacements

8. Compressor Coupling Inspection & Replacement
