The role of a Diversified Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for pursuing new business.
The primary focus will be acquiring new enterprise clients across our Workplace and Media business units, in addition to specialties across verticals and international markets.
In addition, BDEs will collaborate with Marketing, Sales Enablement, Sales Operations to development sales plans including battle cards and win strategies to target specific customers and markets proactively.
What will you be doing?Work closely and strategically align with Account Executives and GTM leaders specific to clients and opportunities, to include relationship handoffs and mutually beneficial situations where opportunities require both a BDD and AE engagement.
Lead new business pursuits including key pursuit team members to be engaged through various phases of an pursuit (qualification, solution development, client presentations and negotiations).
Staffs and leads team in the development and creation of the technical, financial, and commercial framework for new client acquisition pursuits.
Develop and execute pursuit and win strategy in collaboration with the deal team for the opportunity that focuses on business outcomes for the customer.
Work with Sales Enablement and Proposal Team to create proposal that address key challenges, specific business needs and technology issues of the client.
Our value proposition needs to clearly demonstrate our understanding of their issues and how Diversified's solutions differentiate from our competitors.
Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure new contracts and partnerships, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
Drive the pursuit team in the effective and timely closure of deals, maintaining a focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Deep understanding of AV/collaboration technology, digital signage, services, and their features, benefits, and competitive advantages for effective communication of value proposition.
