- Bookkeeping duties such as reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, accounts payable,accounts receivable, month-end closing entries
- Preparation of individual, corporate and partnership tax returns
- Perform tax research
- Resolve tax notices from IRS or other tax authorities
- Assist our clients who use Quickbooks in performing bookkeeping functions
- Review client's financial statements for accuracy
- 2+ year of tax /accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills-French Language ability preferred.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office- especially Excel and Word.
- Ability to understand and analyze financial statements.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle a high-volume workload
- Experience in international and real estate taxation a big plus.
- Has an entrepreneurial drive, highly motivated and driven to succeed
- Must be able to manage multiple clients and tasks and set priorities
- Has previous CPA firm experience
- Has interest in joining a firm with a stable and team-oriented culture
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required

The Junior/Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for general bookkeeping duties, sales tax preparation (monthly and quarterly), year end tax planning, and preparation of individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
