Project Manager – Structural & Bridge Operations

Location: Can be based anywhere in Florida
Lead High-Impact Infrastructure Projects Across Florida
We are partnering with a nationally recognized leader in infrastructure and asset management to hire an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural and bridge maintenance projects across Florida's most critical transportation corridors.
This is a highly visible, field-driven leadership opportunity for a confident, hands-on project professional who thrives in complex environments, enjoys leading teams, and understands what it takes to deliver safe, compliant, high-quality work on DOT infrastructure.
This is not a desk-based role, it's a strategic, boots-on-the-ground position with long-term growth potential.
What You'll Do
Lead bridge and structural repair projects across Florida with approximately 25% travel
Oversee field crews on major DOT maintenance, rehabilitation, and emergency response contracts
Manage execution of structural repairs on bridges, tunnels, and other critical infrastructure assets
Coordinate schedules, resources, subcontractors, and compliance requirements
Ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are consistently met
Serve as the primary field leader driving projects from planning through closeout
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain Florida reciprocity
5+ years of experience leading structural, bridge, or heavy civil repair projects
Strong understanding of DOT contracts, field operations, and multi-site crew management
Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems quickly, and execute under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
Spanish fluency
Military, field engineering, or emergency response experience
Background supporting fast-moving, high-accountability project environments
Work Environment
Majority of time spent onsite supporting active job sites
Travel throughout Florida with occasional regional support as needed
Direct interaction with internal leadership, subcontractors, and DOT/client stakeholders
