    Join our dynamic team as the Global Applications Design Manager, where you will lead the development of our key Meltwater design system and AI-driven platform experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to drive intuitive designs and achieve industry-leading results. You will collaborate with talented designers to enhance our global applications and design patterns, ensuring excellence in interaction design, visual design, and innovative AI solutions. You will also oversee one direct design report contributing to Meltwater platform initiatives.

    What You'll Do:

    • Creation and Craft: Design compelling user interfaces, prototypes, wireframes, and visual concepts using cutting-edge GenAI tools and Figma to create pixel-perfect designs.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage effectively with designers and developers to align on requirements and documentation while working with the UX research team to identify user pain points and opportunities.
    • User-Centered Advocacy: Champion user-centered design principles in every project to enhance user experience.
    • Process Guidance: Collaborate with teams to align design efforts with core business objectives and execute UX priorities, elevating our UI.
    • Mentorship & Leadership: Lead the execution of a product designer's work, ensuring high standards in interaction design and human-centered approaches.
    • Partnership Development: Work closely with product managers and UX directors to foster a strong design ethic and outcomes.
    • Facilitation of Innovation: Guide teams through ideation, feasibility assessments, and story-mapping workshops to enhance design and development processes.
    • Communication: Communicate effectively with cross-functional leaders, developers, and stakeholders, promoting a holistic view of user experience.
    • Design Quality Assurance: Evaluate design patterns through product evaluations and system assessments to ensure quality.
    • Culture Building: Contribute to a vibrant design culture that promotes growth and continuous improvement.

    What You'll Bring:

    • At least 8 years of experience in Product Design / Visual UI Design / UI/UX.
    • 3-5 years of experience in managing a design team.
    • 3-5 years of experience in SaaS and enterprise applications.
    • A proven portfolio showcasing extensive UX/UI work and experience with AI tools.
    • A strong grasp of industry best practices and design principles.
    • Proven ability to deliver products focused on successful outcomes.
    • Exceptional communication skills for articulating ideas to stakeholders.
    • Strong collaboration experience with engineering teams to refine UX.
    • Expert proficiency in Figma.
    • A solid understanding of the Design Thinking process.
    • Experience collaborating with design teams for system-wide improvements.
    • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or a related field.
    • Familiarity with front-end technologies like React and MUI.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary of $ K USD per year, plus a 10% annual bonus paid quarterly.
