    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This role primarily collects a designated portion of our accounts receivable portfolio. It includes activities like invoice processing, distribution, and cash application. Additionally, it may involve financial analysis and metrics reporting for accounts receivable.

    In carrying out these functions, the Bilingual Accounts Receivable Specialist will be in direct contact with our clients via phone and email. Frequent communication with other department members and employees from sales and service departments will also be essential.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Invoice processing: We use our accounting system to generate, review, post, and distribute invoices to customers daily.
    • Account collections – ongoing communication with customers via phone and email regarding timely payment of their account balances.
    • Cash application – apply and post incoming customer payments to their respective accounts daily.
    • Account reconciliation – frequent review and resolution of client balances.
    • Customer information - maintains up-to-date customer contact information in the collections systems.
    • Accounts Receivable-related financial analysis and metrics reporting.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a credit and collections department is required.
    • Prior B2B collection experience is preferred.

    EDUCATION:

    • A bachelor of Science Degree in business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is desired.

    SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

    • Familiarity with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics Navision is an asset).
    • An intermediate level of ability with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
