- As a Public Health Nurse you will provide nursing assessment and coordinator of breast and cervical cancer screenings and cardiovascular disease risk screenings for women, comprehensive follow-up for clients receiving diagnostic testing according the program guidelines.
- In addition you will provide general breast and cervical health education to clients and explain pap test and/or mammogram results as applicable.
- Along with that you will also provide education and health coaching on prevention and/or management of cardiovascular disease risk factors such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol.

- Responsible for accurate and timely entry of screening data for the assigned caseload.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- An Illinois license as a Registered Nurse by examination; and
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing by the Illinois Department of Registration and Education and
- Have one or more years' experience in direct patient care or public health.
- Women's health or internal medicine experience preferred.
