    As a Sales and Program (internally called Country Product Manager), you will manage the EF Language Year Abroad product for the United States market like a small business.

    You will be involved in all facets of its success including sales, goal setting, strategy development, staff management, budgeting, marketing materials production, etc.


    This is a key management position with 2-3 direct reports as well as oversight of marketing, customer service, and business development staff.

    The ideal candidate should be proactive and able to multitask from day one.

    You should be comfortable doing all aspects of the job:
    tele-sales, screening candidates, hiring and training office and field staff, visiting schools/universities, managing a budget, etc.

    We are looking for an ambitious, organized and results-driven professional who will innovate and inspire new ways of working to drive future growth.


    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced salesperson to take ownership of the product and help develop new and innovative sales strategies, tactics, and processes.

    We are aiming for triple digit growth for the product over the next 2-3 years and are looking for a leader who is excited to make this happen.

    Your Main Responsibilities

    Motivate and provide guidance to the sales team to consistently meet sales goals
    Conduct your own sales of our programs through tele-sales, online meetings and face-to-face interactions with potential customers;
    Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including planning for offsite marketing events, fairs and presentations;
    Organize pre- and post-sales customer service to parents and students, including administrative tasks (e.g., visa, pre-departure logistics)
    Motivate and provide guidance to the sales team to consistently meet sales goals
    Manage the budget for your product and work independently within the budget guidelines
    Develop and foster relationships within our international organization including the Global Product Head in Zurich

    Ideal Professional Qualities

    A University degree
    3+ years of successful sales performance with ideally 1+ years of team lead or manager experience
    Bonus points for fluency in another language, particularly Spanish
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    A hunger to gain management experience and grow the business
    Proven sales capability and ability to manage towards targets
    Energetic, flexible personality and entrepreneurial spirit
    Ability to prioritize, meet challenging deadlines and perform under pressure
    Study abroad experience, especially during a gap year or in high school is huge plus
    Passion for travel and language learning
