    We offer Paid Training. Training is On-site at our Cedar Bluff location in Knoxville, TN. (4 weeks 8am - 5pm)

    TeamHealth has immediate openings for Bilingual Spanish Customer Care Agents:

    • Starting at $13.60/hr with higher pay depending on experience + an additional .60 cents/hour for bilingual agents
    • Option to work Full-Time or Part-Time
    • Potential to work from home after successfully completing on-site training
    • Option to set your own schedule
    • We are open Monday- Friday, 8am - 8pm (employees may volunteer to work Saturdays but not required)

    JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

    This position is primarily responsible for answering patient inquires with exceptional customer service, while maintaining positive patient relations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide service to patients in a professional manner.
    • Provide excellent, concise communication.
    • Learn and understand ETM software operation.
    • Learn and understand billing and account operations.
    • Answers and documents all telephone inquiries.
    • Research and resolve problems with patients bills.
    • Updates patients' insurance coverage as needed.
    • Prints courtesy claims and itemized statements.
    • Rebills accounts after receiving insurance information.
    • Arranges financial agreements with patients using budget plan as needed.
    • Performs other duties and assignments as requested.

    QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Understanding and familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment
    • Ability to speak, listen and type simultaneously
    • Strong communication skills (oral and written) required
    • Previous medical billing and customer service experience a plus
