    Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

    Experience:


    • 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.


    • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.


    • Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.


    • Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.


    • Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

    Requirements:


    • Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).


    • This role may require floating to additional units and locations


    • Local & travel allowed.


    • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.


    • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.


    • 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.

    Additional Details:

    References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

    Required Skills/Experience:
    * Chemotherapy Skills/Experience: Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, Management/disposal cytotoxic spills, Monitor chemotherapy, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values.
    * IV Therapy/Infusion Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Administration of coagulation factors, Antifungals, Antivirals, Blood/Blood product administration, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Starting IVs.

    Preferred Skills/Experience:
    * Inpatient oncology
    * Biotherapy: Active Immunotherapy Specific/Non Specific, Administration of Interferons, Administration of Interleukins, Recognize/manage side effects.
    * Care of Patient With: Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
    * Psychosocial Care: Hospice care, Patient/Family education and support, Withholding/withdrawing treatment.
    * Symptom management: Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy.
    * Previous Charge Experience
    * LTAC Experience
    * Trauma Level I Experience
    * Trauma Level II Experience
    * Teaching Hospital Experience
    * Community Hospital Experience

    Shift & Scheduling:
    * 3x12 or 4x12s.
    * Will work every other weekend.
    * On-call is not required.
    * Open to accommodating block schedule; discuss schedule requests with manager.

    Details:


    • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

    5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 2
