    Description

    Job Title: Culinary Supervisor

    About the Role:

    This is a supervisory position responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Hire, schedule, train, and develop workers to meet the needs of the kitchen department.
    • Cook and prepare dishes during peak periods and for special events.
    • Plan and participate in menu planning, inventory management, and purchasing of foodstuffs and supplies.
    • Supervise kitchen staff to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
    • Assist with developing and maintaining budget for kitchen area.
    • Meet with sales staff and customers to discuss menu options and resolve issues.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
    • One to four years of related experience and/or training.
    • Familiarity with KHC policies and procedures.

    Working Conditions:

    The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, talking, and handling objects. The employee must frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
