Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Procurement Associate.
Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 7 months
Location: Mobile, AL
As a Procurement Associate , you will be:
· Responsible for entering requisitions on behalf of mill support team for MRO, services, capital equipment and operating supplies.
· Responsible for work with Mill Stores team to transport parts and equipment to final location in the Mill.
· Responsible for securing parts staging areas in the mill and stage parts for capital projects.
· Responsible for working with appropriate procurement personnel to help expedite parts, find alternate parts, submit invoices, and address any service issues.
· Responsible for ensuring contractors scheduled to come on site are approved in the ISN system and work with them to address any issues prior to arrival date.
· Responsible for completing contractor safety orientation with contractors prior to starting a new job.
· Responsible for working with appropriate procurement personnel to proactively vet suppliers by category following procurement processes and procedures to ensure supply continuity at the Mill level.
· Responsible for Pull daily report of parts pulled from Stores to ensure warranties are executed as available.
· Responsible for completing capital project Spend Report (PSR) monthly to forecast spending and budget.
The ideal candidate will have :
· Experience in a Procurement/Purchasing role, preferably experience in a Mill location.
· Experience writing scope of work.
· Understanding of different types of purchase contracts (T&M, Fixed Cost, GMax, Cost+) and when to use each type.
· Knowledge of how to read a bill of materials and validate parts received match.
· Experience working with vendor front offices to resolve issues.
· SAP expertise is a must. Coupa and Marketplace are desired.
· Ability to work with a variety of mill functions.
· Basic understanding of finance principles.
· Required to have a strong Procurement background- purchase orders/ writing SOWs/ managing vendors and parts/ contracts/ fixed bids/ accruals, etc.
· ISN systems experience is preferred but can be trained onsite if they don't have experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $28- $31/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
