    Cath Lab Tech Job Summary:

    Skillful Cardiac Catheterization Technologist required for immediate travel opening in Charleston, SC. Must have 1 year of experience and assist doctors during advanced cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Key responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms, preparing patients and equipment, operating equipment, scrubbing in during procedures, and monitoring patient status.

    Main Responsibilities:
    • Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock and instrument sterilization
    • Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures
    • Operate and maintain equipment in the cardiac cath lab, including hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers
    • Scrub in during procedures, assist physicians, and maneuver catheters
    • Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data
    • Monitor patient status during procedures
    • Participate in life-saving measures, including defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation

    Requirements:
    • 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
    • BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification
    • State-specific licensing when required
