- Ability to work with newer manual lathe and mill
- Experience with large water pumps and gear boxes a plus
- Boring machine and bore welding experience a plus
- Ability to use hand tools
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Welding experience
- Ability to work and communicate with others
- Problem solving skills
- Hydraulic knowledge
- Ability read schematics
- Run diagnostic tests on vehicles.
- Identify problem(s).
- Make necessary repairs.
- Test drive the vehicle to determine if properly fixed the maintenance issue.
