    Description


    The Area Manager will work directly with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to coordinate activities with delivering company services to customers by performing the following duties personally or through delegation to subordinates.

    Job Duties

    Plans and directs activities and establishes work priorities for services in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.

    Supervise, facilitate and coordinate key personnel and technical/operations processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

    Provide daily administrative oversight of projects including all internal business functions: budgeting, accounting, human resources, facilities support and equipment.

    Identify problems and solutions to ensure that customer needs are met. Foster problem resolution across core team by deciphering relevant and important facts and information to drive tangible results.

    Perform quality audits and inspections through the online quality control management system.

    Ensure contractual requirements are met.

    Demonstrate high energy, mobility, initiative, and drive to enhance operations and achieve financial and organization goals.

    Display exemplary leadership behaviors and uphold the highest safety and quality standards.

    Maintains close contact with accounts to ensure quality customer service and satisfaction.

    Review labor cost to ensure budget is aligned with contractual requirement. Monitor and review payroll using electronic payroll systems.

    Ensures all work is completed in accordance with UG2's Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

    Deliver and model UG2's commitment to excellent customer service.

    Completes other assignments and projects as directed.

    Requirements (Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Education and/or Experience):

    Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of professional education in Facility Management, Business Administration or related field.

    Minimum of 5-10 years of related experience in custodial management and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Ability to pass a background check and social security verification.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Strong knowledge of floor care

    Proven leadership skills with the ability to engage and motivate a large team.

    Demonstrates high attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

    Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of management, staff, clients, and customers. Ability to read and write in English. Bilingual is a plus but not required.

    Responds promptly to customer needs; meets commitments.


    Adapts well to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

    Must be willing to adapt to work schedule as needed to meet facility needs.
