Description
How would you like to get paid to growing plants and coach people with intellectual and developmental disabilities?
ARCA's La Paloma Program has a productive vocational service that teaches life, interpersonal and vocational skills through horticultural training for individuals in our care.
Located on three beautiful acres in Corrales, we grow plants and flowers annually, including our World Class holiday poinsettia crop.
A H.S diploma or GED is required. Must have the ability to provide effective communication, teaching, physical assistance, and some behavioral intervention to individuals as necessary. Must be able to observe and report (verbally and in writing) on progress and behaviors of individuals.
Must also be able to provide personal care, perform physical labor, which may include lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in inclement weather conditions.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record required. Use of an enclosed, insured vehicle may be required.Quadrant:

Location: La Paloma Greenhouses in Corrales, New Mexico (right down the street from Village Pizza)
Time of Day: Days
Hours per week: 40
Schedule: Monday through Friday: 7:00am-3:00pm
Wage: $15.15 per hour
