Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience as a Med/Surg RN or Travel RN
Must have titers in hand at time of submission
Ability to float to other Med/Surg units as needed (flexible clinical skill set)
Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
Perform ongoing clinical assessment, monitoring, and documentation in
MEDHOST (electronic charting)
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per orders
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, care plans, discharge instructions, and recovery
Float to other Med/Surg units as required and adapt to varied patient acuity
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards
