    The Position

    Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an experienced Foreclosure & Loss Mitigation Attorney who is capable of handling appearance and related loss mitigation activities to join our growing team. We're looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals, who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm.


    Responsibilities

    • Appear in Supreme, Surrogates and Federal Court to argue motions necessary for the successful completion of foreclosure, eviction, bankruptcy, and other related default services matters.
    • Communicate with clients and investors to effectuate loss mitigation resolutions, where applicable.
    • Work with and oversee support staff.
    • Draft assigned documents which include, but are not limited to, settlement and release agreements, payoff and reinstatement letters, status letters and other related loss mitigation correspondence.

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience handling foreclosure matters in Connecticut
    • Applicants must be admitted in Connecticut
    • Superior organizational skills
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines
    • Leadership qualities, ability to manage support staff
    • Eager to learn
    • Independent worker

    Compensation/Benefits
