Who you are:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the OBS/Short Stay Unit for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you will care for some of the most acute patient populations.

The OBS/Short Stay unit is a 20 bed short stay Unit.

You will be caring for patients who are in the hospital for observation for a variety of illnesses, for example a Patient being ruled out for an MI awaiting lab results.

This is a Fulltime 30 hour evening position consisting of 2 twelve hour shifts alternating with 3 twelve hour shifts.

What you'll do:

• Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status based on interview, examination and review of clinical data.
• Employing your critical thinking skills to solve problems and achieve patient outcomes
• Care for a diverse patient population with a variety of medical needs.
• Be an integral part of our Bariatric Center of Excellence, contributing to positive patient experiences.
• Receive specialized training through AACN for Cardiac Monitoring, enhancing your skills and expertise.

What you'll bring:

• 1 years of experience as a RN
• Experience in an acute care setting is highly preferred
• Current unencumbered RN license in the State of NH
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred
• BSN strongly preferred
