Lead the design, development, and deployment of data pipeline infrastructure for real-time processing of configuration Data from SaaS and Cloud Infrastructure Offerings.
Optimize data modeling, mining, and production processesMentor and coach other engineers
Work with product managers to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
Work with platform engineers to ensure that services are deployed and managed in a production ready manner.
Provide expert knowledge on the latest cloud technologies and trends
Lead the effort to continuously improve Vectra's cloud infrastructure
Collaborate with peers to positively influence team roadmaps, developer experience, and overall product quality
Take ownership of timely deliverables by delegating, holding accountable, and only sometimes closing gaps with personal contributions
Contribute regularly to the code base

Requirements
10+ years' experience designing and building complex systems with a focus on distributed systems
2+ years' experience with Kubernetes, AWS and Python
A solid foundation in computer science, including algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.
Experience with Data Pipelines deployed as Cloud Solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience with AWS cloud-based development tools and technologies
Experience with User Authentication and Authorization concepts
Experience with Cost Engineering in AWS or Azure
Familiarity with ISTIO Service Mesh
Experience deploying services using terraform, terragrunt or helm
Familiarity with Argo CD.
Education
B.S or M.S or Ph.
D. in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Our competitive total rewards package includes cash compensation within the range provided below. Actual pay for this position may vary based on the hired candidate's location, experience and relevant incumbent pay position.
Vectra Total Rewards $180,000—$220,000 USD
