    Description
    Our client, a renowned North American LNG provider, is looking for a **Senior Cost Analyst** to join their team in **Arlington, VA** with occasional travel to **Houston, TX**, **Cameron, LA**, and **New Orleans, LA**.

    **About the Job:** The Senior Cost Analyst will supervise project activities ensuring safe, cost-effective, and timely results while complying with contracts. Effective communication with Project and Executive Management is crucial for decision-making and stakeholder input. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Project Controls and the Director of Corporate Cost.

    **Key Responsibilities and Essential Duties:**
    • Foster a safe work culture
    • Engage with project management to review cost forecasts, change orders, trends, value of work done, and accruals
    • Maintain and oversee project budgets, including variance analysis
    • Provide analysis and communication to meet project objectives
    • Oversee project reporting, monitoring, and evaluation
    • Support problem-solving and efficiency
    • Contribute to project controls oversight
    • Report project status and performance to management
    • Understand industry standards
    • Other duties as assigned
    Job Qualifications:
    • 10 years of cost experience in major Oil & Gas Engineering projects
    • Experience in LNG Liquefaction or Power Generation projects
    • Ability to manage tasks under deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with EcoSys and Power BI preferred
    • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize efficiently
    • Availability for night and weekend work
