- Lead maintenance safety and environmental compliance initiatives
- Provide maintenance support to plant
- Lead predictive & preventative maintenance programs
- Lead energy efficiency programs - steam, air, nitrogen, and training
- Provide daily supervision of maintenance mechanical department
- Provide plant turnaround leadership
- Lead and direct specialty contractors
- Liaison with engineers, operations, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects
- Maintain and improve mechanical systems, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
- Inspect, maintain installations, and observe operations to ensure conformance to design, equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
- Train maintenance and operations employees
- Investigate and test vendors' products
- Utilize technical drawings, specifications of electrical and mechanical systems and components to ensure systems conform to standards
- Provide technical assistance to operations
- Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred (four-year college or university)
- Five to Ten years' work experience within Chemical/Manufacturing industrial environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Accolade, SAP
- Good working knowledge of Maintenance and Reliability Best Practices

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 5-10 years' work experience within Chemical/Manufacturing industrial environment, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Accolade, and SAP, and a working knowledge of Maintenance and Reliability Best Practices.
Job Title: Reliability Maintenance Engineer
Comp: $95-125K (depending on experience)
Location: St. Clair County, IL (on-site only)
Status: Direct Hire
Hours: Mon-Fri, Days
