Located in Cleveland, OH

Schedule: M-F 2nd shift (3p-11p)

Pay: $26.50/hr-$28.50/hr

Type: Direct Hire

The QA Chemist collaborates closely with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing,

Maintenance, Shipping, and Receiving. The incumbent must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment and be a self-starter.

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field; or equivalent experience in a laboratory setting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to focus on tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience working with analytical equipment, including but not limited to, XRF, Flash point, Viscometers, Auto Titrators and FTIR.
• Background in ISO
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference towards chemical manufacturing/processing.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine laboratory tests, such as sample preparation, chemical analysis, and quality control checks, following established protocols.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Record, analyze, and interpret data, while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to data integrity principles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering to all safety
• protocols and regulations.
• Assist with product investigations, CAPAs/CARs, and timely reporting and closure &
• communication of product nonconformances including issuance of corrective actions.
• Preparation and shipment of samples to customers to DOT and IATA requirements.
