Network Architect - Myrtle Beach

Job description
Day-to-Day:
- Develop and maintain enterprise network architecture for LAN, WAN, wireless, data center, and cloud
- Define secure, resilient, and scalable designs aligned with organizational objectives.
- Translate business requirements into architectural standards and documentation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
- Maintain architecture diagrams and configuration standards.
- Lead design and implementation of major network initiatives (e.g., migrations, integrations, expansions).
- Provide technical oversight during deployment and testing.
- Participate in support rotations as needed.
- Design and optimize wireless networks for high-density environments.
- Implement secure access and authentication strategies.
- Architect secure network topologies with segmentation and encryption.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Prepare documentation for audits and compliance.
- Guide network monitoring and automation strategies.
- Ensure changes follow organizational policies and governance standards.
- Regularly engage with leadership and governance committees on network health and projects.
Must-Haves:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Associates with experience
- Professional certifications (e.
CCNP or something similar
Experience:
-5–7 years of experience in enterprise networking within complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, and network security principles.
- Experience with redundancy, load balancing, and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem solving skills.

Compensation:
$100,000 t0 $150,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
