    • Custodian Job Number Start Date Open Date 01/04/2023 Closing Date 12/31/2025 Maintains a professional attitude and a positive relationship with stakeholders at all times Completes tasks as requested by the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Business Manager, Director of Buildings and Grounds, Central (administrative) office staff, Principal, Vice Principal, head custodian, lead custodian and office staff in a timely manner Works cooperatively with the custodial team to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

    Works with faculty and public in a professional manner Attends training and implements new procedures as directed Maintains inventory of custodial/maintenance supplies and equipment Cleans and preserves designated spaces, equipment etc.

    in the buildingPerforms ongoing preventive maintenance and minor repair on ventilation, plumbing, custodial equipment, buildings structure and hardware Performs minor electrical maintenance and repairs including but not limited to painting, drywall repair, mounting objects to walls & ceilings, moving classroom furniture, computers, boxes and books, changing light bulbs replacing and cleaning carpet, replacing and cleaning VCT tile Ability to safely operate and maintain all cleaning equipment Maintains proper sanitation level in all areas of the facility Uses Personal Protective Equipment as required Assists in maintaining seasonal grounds work (snow, lawn) Cleans and preserves designated spaces, equipment etc in the building Restocks disposable items and provides head custodian with inventory usage and data Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up needed equipment for various events & activities Maintains building and grounds security in the building each day Is responsible for performing tasks that include minor electrical, mechanical and plumbing skills.
