About the Role
The primary function of a Janitorial Craftsman is to maintain our restrooms and offices by performing a variety of cleaning tasks. Duties include but are not limited to, mopping, vacuuming floors, cleaning restrooms/sinks, and surfaces with disinfectants, emptying trash cans, and replenishing sanitary supplies.
 
You will…

• Ensure structures are kept clean, organized, and disinfected.
• Clean the interior of restrooms and offices assigned, including floors, carpet, windows and walls.
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
• Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed.
• Emptying out all major trash cans located in restroom / structures and individual trashcans in offices.
• Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the company as assigned. 

Who You Are
You…

• At least 2 years' experience in janitorial or similar position.
• Able to lift minimum of 30 to 40 lbs. repetitively, on occasions will need to lift > than 50 lbs.
• Able to perform repetitive movements & tasks for 8, 10, or more hours per day which include but are not limited to squatting, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, standing, and lifting over the shoulders
• Must be flexible to work in a team environment and be supportive of co-workers and coaches.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Punctual and highly organized.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with craftsmen, vendors, and clients professionally and effectively.
• Self-motivated, dependable, organized, flexible and able to work with minimal or no supervision in a multitask, fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate needs.
• Open to feedback, communication well, and functions as required.
• Contributes ideas for improved organization in work area and with the team.
• Can work in a safe manner; adhere to all workplace and safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Must be able to work under inclement weather conditions (hot, cold, and rain).
• Must be available to work the following schedule:
  
  1. Monday- Friday- 7:30am to 5pm. 
  2. Saturday: As needed
