    Coordinator, Food and Beverage

    Primary Position Purpose:

    Under the direction of the Food and Beverage Manger, Concessions, the Food and Beverage Coordinator is responsible for providing support for the VP of Food and Beverage and the Food and Beverage Team.

    Job Responsibilities:

    During the Season

    • Establish and maintain filing system procedures; prepare required event and stand.
    • Maintain corporate standards for all food & beverage folder and documents.
    • Make and prepare photocopies as specified.
    • Assemble, update and distribute collateral information for the food & beverage team.
    • Order, distribute and store all office supplies required for the Food & Beverage team.
    • Assist in maintaining current vendor information (guidelines and certificate of insurance)
    • Responsible for maintaining Food & Beverage Manager database as needed.
    • Assist in correspondence, memos, meeting agendas, meeting notes as assigned and distribute according to company standards.
    • Process all pre-event checklists and credentials and post event reports and summaries in a timely manner for review by the Food & Beverage Manager - Concessions.
    • Assist with special events as needed.
    • Assist the Director of Food & Beverage with special projects as needed.
    • Create reports as determined by the Director of Concessions.
    • Foster and promote a cooperative working climate to maximize workplace productivity and employee morale.

    Daily during off-season

    • Assist in preparing all year end reports
    • Coordinate and implement recruiting program for new hires
    • Assist in recruiting and hiring of seasonal staff for the Food & Beverage department
    • Assist in updating training manuals on a timely basis

    Event

    • Align with Director of Food & Beverage, Food & Beverage Manager - Concessions and NPO Coordinator prior to each event to confirm all arrangements and needs of all events.
    • Attend all assigned events and maintain responsibility for being available during events to assist customers, Stand Captains and NPO groups in any way necessary.
    • Interact with patrons during the event to obtain feedback on product quality, product value and customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinates all opening and closing procedures for stand captains and NPO groups for all events and DCFC games, including check-in and check-out, inventory and reconciliation of concession stand locations
    • Assists in overseeing base operations from start to finish of stadium events
    • Assists on game day to insure all Non- Profit groups are following all policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of patron satisfactory. Assists in all areas as needed
    • Assist in check in of Stand Captains and stand assignments
    • Fills in as needed to assist stand captains with any issues relating to overages, shortages or spoilage at the end of a shift

    Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Be willing to work hours that vary according to the event schedule
    • Able to work at a fast pace
    • Organization and effective communication skills required
