    NASA's OCFO must meet the requirements of the Government Performance and Results Modernization Act of 2010 (GPRAMA) and the Foundations for Evidenced-Based Policymaking Act of 2018 (Evidence Act).

    This role supports both of those endeavors.

    Provide support for GPRAMA, including:
    Support the agency's Strategic Review process per OMB A-11 Circular, including internal / external stakeholder coordination and metrics tracking using performance management software
    Support the agency's Annual Performance Report (APR), published within the Volume of Integrated Performance (VIPer), including managing a performance management database (AchieveIt) and compiling and editing performance goal narratives
    Support ad hoc requirements for NASA's GPRAMA Lead and the Strategic Insights and Budget (SIB) division Strategic Planning and Reporting (SPaR) Branch

    Provide support for the Evidence Act, including:
    Support the development and implementation of NASA's Learning Agenda, Capacity Assessment, Annual Evaluation Plan, and Agency Evidence Submission under the Evidence Act requirements
    Help interpret Evidence Act legislative requirements detailed in OMB A-11 Circular and relevant memorandums
    Work with internal and external stakeholders to communicate requirements and solicit findings pertaining to the agency's plan and ability to implement evidenced-based decision making
    Participate in an inter-agency working group to uncover best practices to implementing this relatively new legislation requirement
    Manage document collaboration efforts, including MS Teams structure and access, as well as best practices for collaborative writing
    Support ad hoc requirements for NASA's Evidence Act Lead

    Assist in creating monthly status reports that inform the client of the team's progress, plans for leave, and any risks that may prevent the punctual submission of deliverables.

    Bachelor's degree (engineering, technology, or policy field preferred)
    Ability to drive a process forward, including working with the Civil Servant to create schedules, lead meetings, align stakeholders around objectives, and compile performance management deliverables for NASA and OMB
    Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing, presenting, and interactions with executives and various stakeholders
    Strong attention to detail to provide quality control and compliance for internal and external documents
    Familiarity with performance management, strategic planning, and evaluation management
    Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite (especially Teams, Word, and PowerPoint)

    PREFERRED:
    Familiarity with aerospace industry or public policy related to the aerospace industry
    Familiarity with scientific/technical language
    Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and graphics applications (e.g., Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop)
    Duties to be performed at client site in Washington, DC (1-2 days per week) and remotely.
