    Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to improve lives through real estate.

    About the Role

    The selected candidate will work in 7 apartment communities (231 total units) in Tonawanda and North Tonawanda, providing exceptional customer service to residents by being polite and professional.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC work
    • Conduct unit turnovers and make-readies
    • Complete preventative maintenance tasks
    • Respond to on-call emergency maintenance requests
    • Participate in other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

    Requirements

    • Basic plumbing and facilities maintenance skills
    • Experience with unit turns is preferred
    • Eligibility to work in the United States
    • Valid driver's license
    • Reliable and insured vehicle
    • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
    • Ability to safely utilize power tools
    • Comfortable working in confined spaces and ascending/descending ladders and staircases
