    Description
    We are looking for a Mechanic Millwright to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.

    Your Responsibilities:

    Install, move, reconstruct, repair and rebuild machines and major site equipment requiring planning and improvisation of methods.
    This includes day-to-day repair, modification and/or replacement of Test Loops.
    PM work includes laser alignment. Machine repair parts as required.

    Tools and Equipment:

    Mechanic's hand tools, portable power tools, material handling equipment, pneumatic winches, hammer drills, large power hoists, ladders, scaffolds, cable slings, precision levels, laser transit, monitoring equipment including instrumentation, and pressure gauges.

    Operate a lathe and milling machine, and required machinist equipment. Use department communication devices.

    Material:

    All types of machine tools, such as, but not limited to conventional equipment, numerical-controlled equipment, boilers, pumps, and all types of raw materials, i.e., structural steel material, bar and flat sock, soldering and other metal joining materials.

    What You Bring:

    Must be sole US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance

    Prerequisite:
    High School graduate plus completion of a four-year Mechanic Millwright Apprenticeship or a two-year Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology

    Requirements:
    Four years' experience working in the Mechanic Millwright repair field. Prior machining experience, such as lathe, milling machine, boring mill, etc.
