About the Medicine III Med/Surg
Department:
We're seeking a registered nurse to join our team in the 43-bed Medicine III med/surg unit in the South Tower of NHRMC.
This unit, with small, simple surgeries, is known for its close-knit, teamwork-oriented staff.With a range of support professionals including pharmacists, case workers, social workers, and dietitians, nurses here are empowered to provide high-quality patient care.
This unit is best described as a family, where positivity, flexibility, and a passion for learning are valued.Join us in an environment where team members truly care for each other, fostering growth and learning in a supportive atmosphere.
Collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in their health journey.
Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care.
Foster teamwork, team member engagement, and community involvement.
Demonstrate a commitment to leveraging diversity and inclusion for quality care.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required.
