- Perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications
- Accurately record results and associated data of nondestructive tests and evaluations
- Maintain familiarity with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Level I technicians
- High school Diploma or GED Required
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in monitoring own work to ensure quality and ability to maintain confidentiality of customer sensitive data
- Able to withstand working in plant / and or shop areas around production equipment with high noise level
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
- Technical / mechanical aptitude and computer proficiency preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

Description
Overview
Element has an opportunity for qualified candidates to fulfill available positions in our
Ultrasonic Inspectors department for Trainee, Level I and Level II Inspectors.
_Completion of applicable classroom time, and practical hours (OJT) to achieve Level II certification within the first year of employment, is required._
_Candidate must be available to attend evening classes as they are scheduled for the duration of training._
_Training on first shift may be required 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and then will move to second 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. or third 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m._
