Job summary
The meat cutter will perform general product preparation, clean-up and stock work in the Meat department and provide customer service.
Responsibilities
- Cutting grinding slicing preparing processing trimming tenderizing sealing packaging wrapping bagging pricing prefabricating dating labeling scaling merchandising selling serving customers and other functions in accordance with company policies.
- Keep department temperature logs accurately updated maintained Stock display meat items safely according to company standards Check product quality rotate properly fresh Keep sales areas backrooms coolers clean well organized Keep carts tools supplies designated areas well organized Floors safe free clutter Provide good customer associate relations Communicate effectively with customers fellow associates Unload trucks sort orders place proper cooler location Wash sanitize equipment health department policies procedures Make friendly impression on customers Wait on customers counter promptly cheerfully greet provide them good quality foods Increase store sales profits conjunction retail operations marketing programs Be prompt tactful calm courteous professional interactions Adhere company policies procedures particularly area maintenance work environment free unlawful harassment discrimination Ability manage conflict reasonable nonconfrontational cooperative manner Act honesty integrity regarding customer business information Follow directions seek assistance resolve customer business issues Provide support assistance direct interaction minors individuals special needs older adults Perform essential functions position without reasonable accommodation
