We are seeking a talented and highly experienced Accounting Manager at T2S Solutions to join our team at the corporate headquarters in Belcamp, Maryland.

The role has high visibility and interaction with the companys C-Suite personnel.


Responsibilities:
Assist in monthly closing process and oversee and review journal entries and adjustments for the accounting team.

Assist in ad hoc accounting, financial, and board analyses and reporting as requestedAssist with special projects to drive process improvement and transformation of the finance functionAssist with integration and system migration of acquired business as neededInterpret and implement new accounting guidancePerform and/or review selected technical accounting month/quarterly/yearend proceduresConduct annual impairment testing on Goodwill and indefinite life intangiblesDraft accounting policies and proceduresProvide leadership guidance and sponsorship to ad hoc and recurring Controllership improvement projects including software implementation, efficiency initiatives and process improvementsQualifications:
CPA requiredApproximately 5-8 years previous work experience in a public accounting role.

Financial closing, consolidations, reporting and planning experienceStrong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and SOX requirementsGovernment contracting experienceStrong US GAAP accounting knowledge with experience interpreting and implementing technical accounting guidance to non-routine transactionsSelf-motivated, enthusiastic, proactive, deadline-oriented.

Initiative, independent problem-solving abilities, ownership of work product, and strong leadership qualitiesStrong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage the accounting activities for multiple diverse businesses.

Strong execution skills, advanced analytical skills, and significant technical accounting skills.
Unceasing curiosity and the courage to challenge the status quo.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint.

Technical accounting research.
