    Duties


    • You will advise users on characteristics of systems and applications software and setup requirements.
    • You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist (SYSADMIN/CUSTSPT) specifically focused on the administration and support for Command and Control, communication, Computer and Intelligence (C4I) Systems.
    • You will maintain military tactical systems and associated workstations by installing, configuring, and troubleshooting each respective systems in accordance with supporting technical documentation.
    • You will develop tests, and evaluate interoperability procedures for these systems

    • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code IT SPECIALIST, proficiency level 11 the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.

    • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification is mandatory within 6 months of assignment to position as required by DODI 5870.1M.
    • Misuse of Government IT systems is cause for disciplinary action, including removal.
    • Temporary Assigned Duty (TAD) is a requirement of this position in order to attend training and conference as directed
    Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Installing, configuring, deploying, maintaining and managing software systems, database servers, web servers, active directory services, DNS servers and HBSS/ACAS services in order to provide services to end users in an enterprise network environment
    In addition to the specialized experience stated above your resume must demonstrate one year of experience supporting the following competencies: 1
