    LHH is partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing real estate company based in San Diego, committed to providing exceptional service and value to their clients and stakeholders. Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their finance team.

    Job Description: The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations, including monthly accounting tasks, financial analysis, and assisting with the annual audit process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably with experience in the real estate industry.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform monthly recurring accounting duties, including journal entries, month-end close procedures, variance analysis, and financial statement preparation.
    • Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
    • Maintain fixed asset records and assist with depreciation calculations.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reporting requirements.
    • Assist with the annual audit process, including preparing audit schedules and providing support to auditors as needed.
    • Take on various ad hoc projects and assignments as assigned by management.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Advanced degrees or CPA preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
    • Previous experience in real estate industry accounting preferred.
    • Familiarity with Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, or similar real estate software preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and other advanced functions.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    Pay Details: $33.00 to $43.00 per hour
