Job summary
The Patient Care Technician performs routine patient activities and delegated patient care procedures under the supervision of a nurse.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- BLS certification provided by AHA, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network
- One year of clinical experience is required or successful completion of the intern program
- Knowledge and use of specialized patient care equipment
- Skills required to safely perform routine delegated patient care activities record and report pertinent clinical data
