    SafeHaven is seeking a Hotline Interventionist.

    This position provides immediate response to Crisis Hotline callers using empathetic listening, risk assessment, safety planning, and education to provide appropriate client-centered interventions to address callers' immediate needs.

    The position has significant responsibilities in line with a standard crisis hotline.

    The Hotline Interventionist will coordinate with Emergency Services staff on shelter availability, scheduling client arrivals, and arranging special accommodations to prepare for callers approved for shelter.

    Additionally, this position will establish and maintain open, professional, and healthy lines of communication with all Emergency and Residential Services staff to communicate pertinent and appropriate client-related information to support survivors.

    The specific qualifications for this role are:

    • Bachelor's degree in social work or related social services field preferred, or equivalent experience.
    • Knowledge of crisis intervention, social work theory, and ethics is preferred. Experience in and knowledge of family violence theory preferred.
    • One year of experience working in a social service environment is preferred. Must have general computer proficiency. Please include salary requirements in your cover letter.
