    Summary



    This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Deputy Commandant for Mission Support, Assistant Commandant for Acquisition (CG-9), Director of Acquisition Services (CG-92), Office of International Acquisition Programs (CG-922), Washington, DC.



    Duties


    You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst, responsible for managing all phases of USCG participation in the United States Government's Security Assistance program, specifically Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs calling for the acquisition and delivery of articles and services to other nations.

    Being a Coast Guard (CG) civilian makes you a valuable member of the CG team. Typical work assignments include:

    • Providing project management support, in coordination with other USCG agencies involved in FMS programs and directing program coordination with other U.S. Government agencies.
    • Preparing a variety of documents such as analytical reports, briefing materials, decision memoranda, correspondence, and other documents related to the area(s) of assignment.
    • Providing project management support in the development, implementation, execution and reconciliation of Letter of Offer and Acceptance data, financial analysis worksheet, Price and availability data, and other information required by potential foreign purchasers and US Government entities.
    • Developing effective FMS project management plans; implementing and executing plans working with selected contractors; and identifying emerging issues in order to prepare a range of options and possible courses of action for both intra and/or interagency consideration.
    • Assisting the Contracting Officer Representative in selecting contracts and administering contracts.
    • Monitoring and reporting international engagement and business development activities as they pertain to USCG acquisition programs.
