    Your Role as a Hospice Registered Nurse


    Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:

    • Provide compassionate home-based care to patients with six months or less to live, focusing on enhancing their quality of life.
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers to implement the patient's care plan.
    • Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, evaluate breathing, manage pain, and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
    • Ensure the availability of medical equipment, prescribed oxygen, medications, and other necessary supplies.
    • Educate families on the patient's prognosis, care plan changes, medications, and hospice goals.
    • Adopt a holistic approach to care that nurtures the patient's mind, body, spirit, and family.

    What We're Looking For


    To thrive in this role, you'll need:

    • An active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Michigan.
    • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant RN experience.
    • Community health and a diverse range of Medical-Surgical experience (preferred).
    • Reliable transportation, a valid state driver's license, and current car insurance.
