Job summary
We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager, USN/USMC to join our Public Sector Sales team. This role plays a key part in identifying, qualifying, leading, negotiating and closing sales pursuits in the federal government market.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to USN/USMC cyber workforce leaders aligning SANS training and certification programs with DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework DCWF roles readiness initiatives and emerging mission needs.
- Engage in multi year account planning and capture strategies aligned with program funding budget cycles engage with program offices training commands acquisition stakeholders to position SANS ahead of formal RFPs.
- Collaborate with SANS training curriculum operations teams to tailor offerings for fleet Marine Corps units engage integrators resellers prime contractors to embed SANS into broader training readiness programs orchestrate strategic planning program targeting maximize sales revenue gains devise strategies for searching out promising new business opportunities deeply understand customers mission develop focused relevant solutions leveraging breadth of resources analyze federal budgetary information discern trends priorities identify map key stakeholders decision makers influencers across cyber domain conduct comprehensive competitive analysis pricing strategies recommend partners team arrangements successfully capture business perform other related duties assigned maintain strong relationships customers ensuring long term growth success ensure understanding breadth depth SANS offerings resources apply customer challenges write compliant proposals full spectrum complexity assist preparation accurate timely sales forecasts craft business solutions complex problems create forge partnerships current new establish strong connections collaboration vibrant culture virtual teams operate remote environment occasional presence depending role specific requirements or needs.
