    Description
    This employer is the top coffee roasting equipment manufacturer.

    This person will be responsible for design and commissioning of controls systems for industrial and commercial roasting systems beginning with customer requirements through commissioning.

    They'll interpret mechanical drawings for electrical requirements and create electrical designs, schematics, and drawings in Eplan.

    Once the electrician builds out the drawings, this person will do IO checkout, commissioning of controls systems, and will occasionally train the customer on how to operate the machines/phone support.

    They will also develop, maintain, and troubleshoot HMI, PLC, and SCADA programs.

    . * Allen Bradley PLCs * Experience with burner controls * Eplan software knowledge * UL panel training * Basic understanding of computer programming (HTML, Java)* 5+ years of experience with control panel/electrical schematic design * Proficient in design/drafting tools AutoCad or Eplan * Experience/knowledge of Rockwell PLCs - PLC programming experience required * Ability to travel within the US up to 50% (primarily west coast if not in IL) * Presentable/professional, will be interfacing with clients
