    LaForce is a leader in the door, door frame and hardware industry servicing the field of commercial construction. Join our team as a Project Engineer in our Engineering department in our Green Bay, WI office. In this position you will prepare shop drawings and architectural submittals, maximize project profitability and manage projects from start to finish.

    Project Engineer Responsibilities

    • Detail and prepare shop drawings for all doors, frames and hardware required for commercial construction projects based on contract documents.
    • Maximize project profitability by negotiating with vendors and customers.
    • Interpret information received from customers and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
    • Communicate effectively through phone and email with customers/vendors.
    • Interpret architectural plan sets, specifications and building codes.

    Project Engineer Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) and one year experience; or three to four years related experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, product data, technical procedures, and specifications
    • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
