In this role, you will travel to various locations that are experiencing nursing shortages and fill in the gaps. You will administer medications, provide healthcare advice, monitor patients' recovery, and accurately complete patient records. The ideal candidate is an experienced nurse who can provide their patients with care, compassion, and healthcare excellence.

    Responsibilities Communicate with patients to understand their healthcare concernsProvide health care and nutritional advice when appropriateMonitor patient recoveryWrite reports and provide them to the appropriate healthcare professionalsMaintain equipment and medical supplies in a well-organized and sterile fashionConsults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plansPreps operating room for patient/procedureServices as the communication liaison to family and members of the operating teamEnsures that operating on correct patient and the correct procedure is being performedProvides basic and bedside carePrepares , administers, and records medicationsResponds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocolRecords all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms.

    Initiates corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomologyMonitors patients physical and emotional well-being throughout the care continuumQualificationsBachelor's degree in nursing or equivalentPrevious experience as a Travel Nurse or in a similar position is preferredOrthopedic Experience a PlusStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work with limited supervisionCompassionate and empathetic Compensation: $ $60.00 per hour Helping healthcare work togetherWe are able to provide an invaluable service to hospitals around the country by contributing a highly-skilled, knowledgeable team of surgical assistants to their staff.
