Description
Qualifications:
The Chief Medical Resident for the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program at Wellstar Health System Spalding shall be a PGY 4 level (or above) resident who has completed three years of formal training in Internal Medicine and is considered eligible to take the American Board of Internal Medicine Certifying Exam.
Selection criteria:
Chief Residents will be appointed according to merit and the extent to which they complement the skills and abilities of the other Chief Residents chosen to lead the training program.
Chief Residents will be chosen without regard for race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, gender identity or gender expression or any other type of discrimination prohibited by law.
The Internal Medicine Residency Program Director will have final approval of who is invited and who is chosen to be Chief Medical Resident.
