The Senior Tax Manager is responsible for managing the firms tax department, maintaining client relationships, and assisting in the growth and sustainability of the department and staff.

Primary responsibilities include managing staff workloads, scheduling, new client development, strategy, billing, and production.
Additional responsibilities include tax technical knowledge and filing returns both timely and accurately while strategically position our clients and staff for growth and value adding opportunities.
TAX SENIOR MANAGER JOB Prepares and reviews businesses, individuals, and other entity tax returnsHandles routine client matters and technical questions, and provides tax advice to clientsManages and maintains direct relationships with clientsTargets and acquires new clients in collaboration with other business development activitiesDrives value to clients through strategic tax planning, succession and ownership planning, ownership agreement structures, compensation planning, mergers and acquisitions, and entity selectionPrepares and manages billing processes and procedures on a monthly basisOversees tax departments staffing, strategy, processes & procedures, and performance to goalsLeads federal, state, and local tax examinations and mediationPrepares federal, state, and local provisions for income taxes (preferred, not required)Understands ASC 740 Accounting for Income TaxesParticipates in Firm committees and activitiesPromotes the Firm positively in the community and through professional organizations involvementPerforms other duties as assignedTAX SENIOR MANAGER Bachelors degree in Accounting7+ years of public accounting or equivalent industry experience3+ years of management experienceCPA certification in good standingAdvanced computer literacy, including proficient use of all Microsoft Office productsValid drivers license and safe driving recordDemonstrated client relationship management as well as collaboratively within a team settingStrong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlinesProvides team-members with timely, accurate, and constructive feedback regarding performanceDesire to have fun with your work and to contribute to our unique company culture" />PIc82cc9ac
