To be considered you'll need:

Successfully passed NCLEX Exam
A registered nurse (RN) License in the US or Canada.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
One or more years' nursing experience in any of the following can apply - LTC

Units: ED, PACU, OR, L&D, MedSurge, Long Term CareSchedule: Shift schedule varies, rotating shifts, holidays and week-ends as scheduled.Shifts: Shift options vary.Patient Population: Adult, and geriatric

Base Pay Range:

USD $ $41.95 / hour
Estimated annually: $55,130 to $87,260/ year
Determined by years of experience

Overtime pay: Base pay is multiplied by 1.5 times for every hour over 40 hours in a week.

To be considered you'll need:

Current license to practice profession in the State of Colorado (Flint will assist with this).
Ability to read, write and speak English (Flint will help with this).
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
A minimum of one (1) year medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care (hospital) setting.
Critical care experience is preferred.
For the Long Term Care Unit: A minimum, one (1) year experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other comparable institution. Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
Current BLS certification, ACLS and PALS maintenance expected.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

Create a positive working relationship with patients, visitors and facility staff.
Provide direct medical care to adults and/or pediatric patients needing intensive and emergency medical treatment.
Ability to report deviations in diagnostic studies such as lab values, radiology and EKG reports.
The ability to communicate, consult, and interact with team members to share pertinent information in a clear, concise, and tactful manner.
Ability to exercise sound judgment, determine priorities, and manage time
Assess plans and evaluates nursing care delivered to patients requiring acute care.
Implement the patient plan of care and evaluate the patient response.
Identify changes in the patient's physical or psychological condition (i.e., changes in lab data, vital signs, mental status).
Is patient oriented: time is spent with patients rather than other personnel.
Work as a team: co-workers are readily assisted as needed.
Relay information to other members of the health care team (i.e., physicians, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, social services, etc).
Maintain knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use (i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.).
Initiate emergency support measures (i.e., CPR, protects patients/residents from injury)
Follow proper documentation and medication administration procedures per nursing scope of practice and facility policy.
Demonstrate proficiency in advanced assessment skills to evaluate the signs, symptoms, reactions, behaviors, or general appearance to determine normal versus abnormal characteristics.
Able to make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of data, assessments, and evaluations of patient outcomes.
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize patient care problems and determine nursing interventions utilizing critical thinking.
Provide direct medical care to adults and/or pediatric patients needing intensive and emergency medical treatment.
Able to communicate and inform colleagues of changes in patient/resident conditions or of any other changes occurring on the unit.
