    Job DescriptionHello from Clear Choice Optometry We are looking for a front desk team member/optometric technician to join our team.

    Job SummaryWe are seeking a Front Desk Reception/ Optometric Technician to join our team As a front desk reception and optometric technician, you will be responsible for welcoming and checking in patients and conducting their initial assessment prior to being examined by the doctor. Your duties would include noting patient complaints or concerns, performing work up tests such as auto-refraction, FDT VF, and Optos images. You will also assist as needed with procedures done by the doctor in-office, help educate patients on eye health and best practices, and maintain an organized, clean work environment at all times. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and is extremely organized.
    Responsibilities
    • Greet and check in patients
    • Assist scheduling appointments and maintaining office flow
    • Check out patients
    • Order contact lenses for patients
    • Conduct an initial assessment of the patient and record findings into EHR system
    • Assist in in-office procedures, as needed
    • Educate patients on best practice and eye health
    Qualifications
    • Previous customer service experience desired
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
    • Familiarity with EHR medical records system
