    Description
    The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler
    • Fabrication Specialist for a prominent client of ours.
    This position is located in Salt Lake, UT.

    Details for the position are as follows:

    Title:
    Mechanical Assembler - Fabrication SpecialistLocation: Salt Lake, UTDuration: 6 Months contract (Possibility for extension based on performance)

    Hourly Rate on W2:
    $21/hrFlexible for both shift - Shift : 1st shift is 6:45 am - 3:30 pm 2nd shift is 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

    Job Description:
    Regular and predictable attendance is required.

    Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.

    Prepares aircraft parts for painting. Makes necessary patterns, performs layout and applies prescribed primers, paints and finishes. Performs machine set-up, machining and fabricating of sheet metal and extrusion. Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components. Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products. Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests. Performs composite Client-up, fabrication and assembly tasks. Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements.

    Qualifications & Skills High school diploma/GED Experience with hand tools preferred Familiar with blueprint interpretation Assembly experience preferred Composite material experience (fabrication and assembly) preferred Looking for positive team members who enjoy working in a collaborative environment Successful candidates will be building commercial aerospace products with cutting edge technology and a great team.

    Flexible with both shifts.
