This senior-level role is responsible for developing a proactive quality culture, overseeing quality assurance activities, leading audits, and elevating overall operational excellence within an assembly or manufacturing environment.

Description
Oversee, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
Align quality systems with lean manufacturing principles and organizational goals.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve compliance, efficiency, and product quality.
Serve as the primary contact for regulatory audits, inspections, and external assessments.
Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
Identify potential compliance risks and develop proactive mitigation plans.
Use Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and other data‑driven methodologies to improve process capability and reduce waste.
Lead investigations into quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances.
Manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes and customer complaint resolution.
Develop and maintain incoming inspection plans, sampling methods, and quality procedures.
Analyze inspection and quality data to track trends, KPIs, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare detailed reports and communicate quality performance across the organization.
Lead and mentor the quality team, providing coaching and training.
Implement quality-related training for staff across multiple departments.
Promote a culture focused on prevention, risk mitigation, and continuous learning.
Identify risks related to product quality and safety and implement mitigation strategies.
Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.
Handle other duties as assigned to support business needs.
Profile
Bachelor's degree required; Engineering, Quality Management, or related field preferred.
7-10 years of progressive quality experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Experience within manufacturing, assembly, or production environments strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.
Expertise in corrective actions, root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone), FMEA, control plans, and CAPA.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to interpret technical procedures, drawings, specifications, and regulations.
Knowledge of calibration systems, measurement tools, and inspection processes.
Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Adaptable, proactive, and focused on continuous improvement.
Job Offer
Base salary $150,000 - $170,000 depending on experience level
20% bonus incentive
